My dental visit gave me this thought...
>> Apr 23, 2009
I went to my dentist last Saturday for consultation and cleaning. I’m bad. I did not pay her a visit last year. I was preoccupied with so many things that I thought going to her clinic is something like dragging my feet. So last Saturday, since I had a free time to spare, I went to her clinic with my daughter. She also had her dental check up.
The clinic was newly renovated. I love the new look. It’s now more relaxing and comfortable for the patients. There were only two patients before me when I get there. And then my turn came. As usual, she performed deep dental cleaning on me. Removing (scaling) soft and hard deposits on my teeth. The procedure was quick for 30 minutes. But after that I felt refreshed. Though a little uncomfortable...well, until now. I felt my teeth thinned, lol! She also advised me to get molar dentures. Yep. I lost some molars some years ago, planned to have dental implants but it’s pricey. Maybe I should go and get dentures instead. I feel I need it now that one of my lower teeth has already moved a few millimeters away from the others leaving a tiny gap.
If only I live in San Diego, maybe I can avail of an affordable San Diego veneers. Veneer or porcelain veneer is a cosmetic dental procedure that helps in eliminating slight dental imperfections, unsightly gaps, cracks, chips, and discoloration.
Some dental care can be very costly. But it's good that there are affordable dental procedures like in San Diego. But the point here is, whether costly or not, we have to invest on our dental care so that we can give the world a bright and dazzling smile. {Kim Chiu's cute smile inspired me, hehehe!}
