The Help.

>> Jun 4, 2009

I am currently hooked with a local television program. And the story went to a point where the scenes were in the hospital because the two leading men underwent a kidney transplant. There where many viewers’ comments that I’m reading about this part of the program. They were arguing about who will be experiencing the most hardship, the donor or the recipient. I asked my friend who was a kidney transplant patient and she said that based on her experience her donor didn’t had any complications at all as well as her. It’s because they went through a series of exams, physical and psychological to prepare them for the operation. After the operation, they both went well. And when they went home, they made sure that she will be taken care of properly. Her family bought some medical equipments and medical supply for her so she can be monitored even at home. Same with the donor. It’s a blessing that the kidney that was donated to her was accepted by her body system because she said that there were some incidents that the new kidney is rejected by the system of the recipient.

I’m not a medical practitioner but I’m thankful for the continuous evolution of our medical technology. It is really helping us a lot. Like the amazing technology of transplants and of course the simpleness of buying medical supplies even online. Who would have thought that we will reach the stage where we can buy online even medical equipments and supplies, right? Like what Alegro Medical has been offering for their over a million customers in the US and now even worldwide. Don't you think? Our generation is blessed.
