Words of The Day: Revved Up, Neck of the Woods

I'll give you two entries today. A word and a phrase that I encountered while reading a book.

1. Neck of the woods

A surrounding or nearby region.

Example:

"I will drop in on you the next time I am in this neck of the woods."
"I a heavenly sight here in my neck of the woods."

2. Revved Up - Speed up

-Increase the number of rotations per minute
- Rev up an engine

Example:
"Let's rev up production"
