At Work

I was not able to go online last week. I have so many online tasks to finish but was not able to do since I have tons or offline workloads and also, our IT personnel have blocked some sites that I visit regularly. I was not able to open edit or post to my blog since blogger has been blocked. Aside from that, I can’t go online even at home when I found out that my LCD monitor was broken. Maybe it was accidentally hit by something when we left in to the evacuation center…so sad.

But looking at the bright side, I was able to work with less interruption. Sans the continuous ringing of the telephone it could be so much better. I wish we can reformat our PABX system in a way that I can work without constantly picking up the phone. Actually we already have this speech recognition system but still all the calls are transferred to me when it fails to function well, which, by the way, happens almost all the time. I wish it will be fixed and maybe enhanced a little bit with courtesy and predictive dialers so I won’t be disturbed often.

A good working environment is a place every employee wants to be, right?
