Just had our dinner...

>> May 26, 2009

...okay, so I'm back. Having a sumptuous dinner can really help in getting my blogging mojo back. I'm thankful that I don't have any church activity to attend to every Tuesday. This is the day when I'm usually free so I can still bond with my daughter before going to sleep. I missed her last night because when I got home, she's already past asleep. Well, I was also too tired last night that after the service, I was rushing to go home. If not for the taxi driver's initiative to take the elliptical road, I could have gotten much later. He's indeed a blessing.

Well, I'm off for now. I'll go and play with the little lady first before going to bed. Have a good night everyone!

2. Tending to disparage or belittle.
3. A belittling or disparaging word or expression.

While he said that he is not a "fanboy," mildly pejorative slang for an aggressively obsessive "Star Wars" fan, he did mention that the John Williams "Star Wars" theme was played at his wedding reception two years ago.

Something different

After reading about Mesothelioma lawyers, I'll be off to cook our dinner. I missed cooking. Since last Friday, we're eating food prepared by somebody elese. I've tasted so far, the best Goat Caldereta in Mindoro courtesy of hubby's brother, the great chef. And it was also my first time to eat Dalag (mud fish). I never thought it was good. Hubby's aunt let us brought home two live mud fishes from their fish pond, and that's what I'm going to cook now. So see yah...

Haaayyy....

I had a very busy day today. I prepared some presentations for the excom meeting this afternoon the reason I'm not able to update this blog. Tonight I want to sleep early since I didn't get to sleep enough last night. I attended our monthly shed session so I came home half past twelve in the morning. I wish I'll be able to post tomorrow. I have so many things in mind to write about.

USB.

Technology has blessed us with gadgets that make life easier like the flash drive. Who would have thought that we can now save and transfer files from one computer to another with the help of this gadget? When I was first introduced to a computer I was using a real floppy disk. I think the size was 5 inches. Then years after, we shifted to a 3 inches disk. And now, the USBs. Flash drives now even have a variety of looks, styles and design. I had a key chain and a pen flash drives and I even saw watches and necklaces that are one of the most stylish kind of flash drives. Man is really full of intelligence to invent these gadgets.

Refreshing Weekend.

We visited my in-laws in Mindoro last weekend. It’s been more than 3 years since I last saw hubby’s parents and siblings. When hubby was abroad, I was not able to pay them a visit. Its hard to travel specially when you don’t have anybody to company you like your husband. So when he came home, this visit was one on the list of his itinerary.

As usual, her sisters complimented my figure. Lol! They said I haven’t changed since they last saw me. This was by the way, during my wedding day. They even thought I was taking diet pills to maintain my weight. But I told them no. I just don’t get weight. And that’s my problem, lol!

It was an enjoyable weekend. Tasting the life in the province was something that we, who live in the city should experience once in a while. It was refreshing.

My New F480

I love music as much as I love books and reading. I love listening to my favorite genres of songs whenever I’m traveling or even when I’m not doing anything. I don’t have an mp3 player so I made sure that the phone that I’ll have can be an mp3 player and phone at the same time. And hubby knows it so when he came home, be brought me a Samsung F480 phone with an extra 4G micro sd where I can store as much music as I want. I’m loving it now. It’s a touch screen phone which is very handy and user friendly.

It’s more than two weeks now since the husband returned and since then I haven’t grabbed any book nor advanced any chapter from the book I was reading before he came home. I miss reading because now I’m busy with all house matters. My husband Is somewhat meticulous so I don’t want anything that will disappoint him. So now that he’s here, I think some of the books will be parked on the shelves until I have the time to read them all…Haaay, I hope that it happens soon.
