Now that hubby is leaving again to work abroad, I vowed that I will be a wise steward of our finances. The trials that we’ve been through are not easy and and it taught us important lessons. So this time, we will be wiser on how we will handle our finances, with all the blessing that will come in, and with all the things that we will be spending in. We will be wiser also with all the investments that we will be venturing in. Hubby and I decided that we will engage in a business first before we decide to buy our own home. When money start coming from the business, a home will just be easy to acquire. So now, I’m learning the things I need to learn in investments and entrepreneurship. I read that gold investment is the safest so I’m including this to my list as well although I’m still clueless with this. I just read that it’s safer to buy gold coins and bullion for investment. May God lead us to the right business venture.
As I look at my husband while he's packing his clothes, I can't helped but feel sad. His tentative flight is on Saturday so that means we only have four days together..I'm really sad. I thought we can till celebrate Father's Day. But well, this is our life. I know God meant it to be. He could have left even earlier since the agency started processing his papers last March. But God allowed us to still enjoy some more time together. Haay....the life on an OFW is really hard. But we're praying that we can survived yet another two years of being far from one another. I know God will see us through.

When my sister was still single she lived frugally and devoted herself in saving portion of her salary and in investing in gold. She works in a jewelry store that also sells and buy gold coins. My sister uses eye cream for dark circles under her eyes. She developed dark under eyes because of staying late every night. She lacks sleep because of the nature of her job. She can’t sleep longer during the day because she wants to make up to her kids for the times she’s not with them. Haay..the sacrifices a working mom have to do for her job and for her children.
Being a working mom is really a challenge. I’m blessed that I only work 5 days and get to play with my kids when I arrived and sleeps with them at night. But I still dream of being a WAHM someday.

I’m so happy that I didn’t have to take adipex just to get my pre-pregnancy weight back, well not the exact figure but I’m close to it. It’s been three weeks that I’m back working and every week, as I checked, I’m losing several pounds. I’m just so happy! I know it won’t be long, I’ll get rid of those flab as well as I can already do sit ups. I’m also proud to say that I can now wear all my pre-pregnancy clothes, and I mean all of them! That’s an achievement for me, lol!
It’s difficult to experienced car problems along the road especially if you’re a female driver, don’t know how to use your car tools, or worst, don’t have any knowledge about emergency car repairs. It would be a blessing if you can get any roadside assistance from someone. But if not, you have no choice but to ask for a towing service. So my advice for us, women, learn the basic skills in car troubleshooting. Honestly, I’m also one of those who would be helpless if a car problem would happen. That’s why until now, I’m not driving alone.
Someone is still using his old briefcases. I guess he love them so much that’s its hard for him to let them go, lol! As wives we need not to forget about taking care of ourselves. We need to always look gorgeous for our husbands. So if you already notice that you’re growing sidewards, stop, observe your appetite and do the things to get fit. Whether you use diet supplements like Lipovox or just plain exercise, the main point is we have to stay fit, slim and sexy…well of course, not just for our husband but for ourselves. I'm touched. I know my husband doesn't have the money to buy expensive gifts for me for mother's day but last night, I received three white roses. I was surprised. Well, he said it's three because one is from him and other two are from the kids. I'm so happy. I didn't even thought about Mother's Day until that night, lol! When I received the flowers..(my little girl was the first one to hand me one rose), I almost cried....I'm really blessed to be mom..twice.
I’m creating my list for tomorrow’s election. And yes, I’m having a hard time choosing for the local candidates. Honestly, I don’t know most of them that are running for councilors that’s why I’m clueless as to who are the ones I’ll include on my list. Whew! I’m beginning to see additional wrinkles, lol!
Anyway, tomorrow is our national election and I know most of the people are scared for possible problems. So aside from creating my list (so I’ll come prepared at the voting precinct), I’m also praying that we’ll have an honest, orderly and peaceful election tomorrow. Let’s go out and vote wisely.
